• Hot glue guns + glue sticks
• Acrylic Paint
• Paint brush
• Sketch paper
• Pencils

Student Outcomes

Example student work might include colorful mini homes, fantasy-inspired buildings, abstract structure, or neighborhood-inspired architecture with personalized details and creative forms.

Reflection

This lesson encourages students to think critically while creating with their hands. Through building and experimentation, students learn how creativity and planning work together while gaining confidence in problem-solving and self-expression.

Students Design and construct miniature houses or architectural structures using popsicle sticks, hot glue, and paint. This lesson introduces foundational design concepts while encouraging experimentation, planning and creative problem-solving through hands-on building.
